Country: Ukraine

Description:

"Serenade" was written more than a decade later than "Strip-Tease", which is noticeable in the play itself - the author managed to emigrate and live for some time in France, away from control and repression - the play touches on more common human problems and to a lesser extent (compared to " Strip-Tease") is an absurdist work.

The story of the penetration of the chicken coop Fox, playing the cello Serenade. His appearance forever changes the constant (sometimes to nausea) course of life of the Rooster and the harem of three chickens: Blonde, Brunette and Red...
(It is recommended to read the play before watching)

The project consists of two performances based on one-act plays by S. Mrozek: "Strip-Tease" and "Serenade", each of which has a finished plot and ideological and thematic component. However, in rethinking the authors of the project, the performances are combined with their own view of man, his place in the universe, his own freedom and non-freedom.

The choice of drama "theater of the absurd" is not accidental - modernity, full of information, emotionally and visually, often knocks a person off his feet, confuses and deprives of self-identification, which is replaced by the perception of external circumstances as one's own thought and will. Man, without noticing it, becomes a simulacrum of "God's creation", the ideal of man in the era of humanism. The idea of automatic existence is reflected in the performance of puppet theater - a puppet and is the alter ego of each performer, while the "living" actor - is the bearer of the inner, true, true life of the spirit.
