Vernissage of Katarzyna Pietrzykowska's artistic puppets exhibition

Katarzyna Pietrzykowska - born 1991 in Warsaw. She studied at the Theater Technique College and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the department of stage design. She created her first doll in 2013 and from that moment it has become her passion. She creates mainly from self-drying masses, but also uses other materials such as felt, fleece, fabrics, polymer masses. Her works are in private collections, incl. in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.

Since 2018, she has been running cyclical workshops on creating artistic dolls for adults and teenagers at the Sztukarnia Art Center in Warsaw. Participant of the collective exhibition "Mazowsze in skirt" organized by the Museum of Dollhouses, Games and Toys.
